He was predeceased by: his parents, Helmer Andersen and Hazel Andersen (Stringer); his brother-in-law Vernon Parker; and his grandson Geoffrey Andersen. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Andersen (Ulfers); his sons, Richard Andersen (Donna) and Timothy Andersen (Charlene Keeney); his grandchildren, Steve Andersen (Abigail), Adair Andersen, Donnie Coyle (Lettie) and Trevor Braaten; his great grandchildren, Isak, Jordan, Everett, Franklin, Rueben and Dane; and his sister Myrna Parker (Andersen). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
His last years were a challenge with the progression of Parkinson's Disease.
