He was predeceased by: his parents, Ragna Thorson (Lund) and Thor Thorson; his children, Rick Thorson and Kathy Thorson; his brothers, Thelmar Thorson, Arvid Thorson, Lyle Thorson and Dennis Thorson; and his stepsons, Brian Hegg and Wade Hegg.
He is survived by: his brothers, Gary, North of Bagley and Valley; his daughter Katherine; his wife Marilyn Thorson (Hegg); his children, Rhonda Koller (Phil) and Wayne Thorson (Sandy); his stepdaughter Vicki Furer; and his daughter-in-law Pam Thorson. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
