He was predeceased by: his daughter Jennifer Ann Kovacovich; his father Roddy Kovacovich; his brother-in-law David Jacobson; and his mother-in-law Marlys Meidt. He is survived by: his wife Dawn Kovacovich; his children, Laura of Park Rapids, Katherine "Katie" of St. Paul and Bradley of Minneapolis; his mother Theresa Kovacovich; his siblings, Carol Jacobson, Mark Kovacovich (Robyn), Donald Kovacovich (April) and Joan Kovacovich (Juan Carlos Ordoñez); and his close friends, Kristin Davenport (Ben), Mary Kovacovich, Scott Kovacovich (Zoe Zuretich), Charles Kovacovich (Ashly Larson), Anthony Kovacovich (Missy Zelmer), Lucas and Lucia Ordoñez. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the First Lutheran Church of Bemidji (900 Bemidji Ave N, Bemidji, MN 56601).
