It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Anna Heemstra of Bemidji, Minnesota, born in Walker, Minnesota, who passed away on March 29, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Hanson and Thelma Hanson. She is survived by: her husband Delvan Heemstra of Bemidji; her stepdaughter Marilyn Greenside (Charlie) of Cass Lake; her grandsons, Nick and Brandon Greenside (Holly); her daughters, Carolyn Robinson of Champlin, MN and Julia Dancker of Bemidji; her grandchildren, Tory Skime (Tracie Aasen), Tylor Skime, Travis Skime (Amy Zubke) and Tonya Petrowske (Kraig); her son Delbert Heemstra of Detroit Lakes, MN; and her grandchildren, Madison Heemstra, Deacon Heemstra (Barbara Shirgir), Parvoneh Shirgir (Grant) and Zach Shirgir. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
