She was predeceased by: her parents, George Swanson and Katharine Swanson (Anton); her husband Charles R. Richards; and her siblings, Eleanor Swanson (Swanson), Chester, Leonard, Donald, Clifford, Dennis and Leslie.
She is survived by: her children, Kelsy Blowers (Michael), Karyn Lutz (Timothy), Ross Richards (Susan) and Kristie Hensel (Jeff); her grandchild Hunter Blowers (Katlyn); her children, Jordan Lutz (Nicole), Katey Lutz, Becca Belle Isle (Matthew), Betsy Hermanson (Kale), Tessa Lindberg (Ben), Jaymeson Hensel and Nate Hensel; her great grandchildren, Emmett and Cedric Lutz; her grandchildren, Parker, Quinn Belle Isle, Callen Hermanson and Caleb Lindberg; her siblings, Sharon Bugge (Neil) and Oliver "Skip" Swanson; and her sister-in-law Shirley Swanson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In her later years, she made quilts, many of which were donated.
