She was predeceased by: her parents, Olaf Nordby and Maren Nordby (Nesland); her husband Raymer Hoyum; her siblings, Bjarne, Einar, Gudrun, Ragnar, Marvin, Dagney, George, Martha and Harold; her great grandchildren, Gracie Rae Hoyum and Drew Thomas Hoyum; and her parents-in-law, Anton Hoyum and Mabel Hoyum.
She is survived by: her children, Loren Hoyum (Edith) of Bemidji, MN, Robert Hoyum (Chery) of Kelliher, MN, Marilyn Hartwig (Ken) of Bemidji, MN, Gerald Hoyum (Wanda) of Cass Lake, MN, Cindy Bronczyk (James) of Bemidji, MN and Cheryl Rhodes (Brad) of Pe Ell, WA. She is also survived by 12 Grandchildren, 21 Great-Grandchildren, and 2 Great- Great Grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Our Savior's Lutheran Church of Kelliher, or the American Legion Auxiliary of Kelliher.
