She is survived by: her husband Karl Swanson of Bemidji; her children, Chris Swanson (Kate) and Sara Swanson; her grandchildren, Leona, Calvin SwansonSiblings Kathy Tumberg (Jon), Jill Lonneman (Gary) and Mary Jo Brennan (Doug); her brother-in-law Todd Sanken; and her nieces and nephews, Jared Bakke (Kris), Emily Gilbert (Mike), Anna Pink (Brian), Erik Swanson (Megan), Ian Swanson, Jenna Sturgis (Adam) and Lydia Sanken.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Bemidji Public Library, Great River Rescue, and the National and State Park Services.
