He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Arthur James and Ada Pearle James (Thiessen); his wife Mary Frances; his brothers, Clyde James, Jr., Judson Thiessen and Charles Porter; his nephew David James; and his son-in-law Dale Wilson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Susan Wilson of Nevis, MN, Rhoda Henry (Lawrence) of Lapwai, ID and Janai Lampert (Greg) of Laporte, MN; his grandchildren, Elaine Santiago, Stacy Nelson (Adam), Ryan Wilson (Naomi), Brian (Sara), Eric (Nicole), Lee Henry (Mandy), Jessica Silva (Israel), Crista and Eva Lampert; his sister-in-law Irene James; his nephew Philip James (Millie); and his niece Lori Ramos. He is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren; 3 great great-grandchildren.
