With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jean LaVonne Stay of Bemidji, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 10, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Grace Johnson and Edward Johnson; her husband Roman Arthur Stay; her brother Art Johnson; and her stepsiblings, Annie Riley (Don), Lois Ward, Linda Wickel (Butch), Ken (Virginia), Hoosier (Judy), Larry (Brenda), Bill and Johnny Strowbridge.
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Strassburg (Mike), Brad Stay (Maria), Gary Stay (Diane), Lori Stay (Dave) and Teresa Faecke (Tom); and her stepsiblings, Alice Riley (Jim), Judy Green, Fred, Randy (Debbie) and Jim Stowbridge (Jody). She is also survived by her 5 children, 12 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
