It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jack Delano Israelson in Bemidji, Minnesota, born in Regina, Saskatchewan, who passed away on June 11, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Israelson and May Israelson; his foster parents, Alfred Berg and Julia Berg; his foster brother Kenneth Berg (Evelyn); his brother-in-law Bill Thomson; and his pet Rocky.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Thomson; his pet Charlie; his children, Linda Jackson (Terry), Brian (Mary), Mary Cannon (Tom), John (Mary), Bill (Sarah) and Patti (Jim); his grandchildren, Chase, Travis, Carson, Tate, Cindy, Jenna, Jeff, Tyler, Tara, Zach, Emily, Andrew, Nick, Sam and Hannah; and his sister-in-law Judy Thomson.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be given to the local Hospice who took such good care of him, the United Methodist Church, or a charity of your choice.
