He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Rawlyk and Wasylena Rawlyk (Lena); and his siblings, Gracey Rawlyk, Gerry Rawlyk and Jules Rawlyk.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Rawlyk (Cayo); his children, James Rawlyk (Eileen) of Duluth, MN and Jennifer Devlin (Charles Arthur) of Bemidji, MN; his grandchildren, Dylan Devlin of Bemidji, MN, Olivia Rawlyk of Ypsilanti, MI and Thomas Rawlyk of Duluth, MN; and his brother Ed Rawlyk (Dianne) of Borden.
The family wishes to thank many close friends, neighbors, and staff at Goldpine Home who helped to care for Gene as his health declined due to Parkinson's Disease. In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family requests donations be sent to Calvary Chapel Bemidji Children's Programs and Vacation Bible School (VBS) at 500 Irvine.
