He was predeceased by: his parents, Mae Bangerter and Walter Bangerter. He is survived by: his children, Dean Bangerter (Krista), Renee Rosa (Scott) and Traci Dravis (Greg); and his stepchildren, Blair Driscoll (Mark), Karyn Flesch (Jim), Brad Dewey and Amy Hardesty (Patrick). He is also survived by six sisters and sisters in law, numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
