He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Lillquist and Irene Lillquist (Peterson); his in-laws, Marvin and Florentine Gunderson; his brothers, Harland, Gordon and Arthur "Bud" Lillquist; and his siblings-in-law, Steven Gunderson, Donald Norenberg, Beverly Lillquist (Bud) and Neen Lillquist (Bud).
He is survived by: his wife Jean Ann Lillquist (Gunderson); his children, Mike Lillquist of Rogers, MN, Brenda Rubash (Joe) of Laporte, MN and Dan Lillquist (Kelly) of Laporte, MN; his siblings, Ardis Norenberg of Bemidji, MN and David Lillquist (Linnea) of Fayetteville, AR; his siblings-in-law, Ron Gunderson of Winsted, MN, Ruth Johnson (Ardell) of Bemidji, MN, Mary Lillquist (Gordon) of Faribault, MN and Theresa Peterson (Dan) of Bemidji, MN; his grandchildren, Allison, Axel, Tyler, Julia Lillquist and Joseph Rubash; and his nephews, Mark Norenberg and David Lillquist. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Bemidji State University Foundation.
