He was predeceased by: his parents, Marie Masching (Ziegler) and George Masching Sr.; his brother Donald; and his brother-in-law John Zamzow. He is survived by: his sisters, Dorothy Zamzow of Morgan and Darla Kimpling (Jeff) of Willmar. He is also survived by six nephews and one niece.
