He was predeceased by: his parents, Ole Grannes and Inga Grannes (Enger); his wives, Leona Grannes and Joan Grannes (Olson); his son-in-law Steven Barli; his brothers, Orland and Gordon Grannes; his siblings-in-law, Pat Grannes and Philip Schmidt; his brother Clayton; his sister-in-law Jeane Ekdahl; and his niece Jody Grannes.
He is survived by: his children, Victoria Fruetel (Larry), Douglas Grannes, Virginia Barli and Valerie Kluver (Jim); his grandchildren, Daniel Kluver (Kristy), Angela Giesler (Jason), Holly Kluver, Jessica Campos (Colt), Joseph Barli and Isaac Grannes; his siblings, Burton Grannes (Shirley), Muriel Schmidt, Charles Grannes (Judy) and Melvin Grannes (Kay); and his sister-in-law Lavon Grannes. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
