She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Wegner and Augusta Wegner; her husband Harvey Plathe; her brother Donald; and her grandsons, Jeremy Michael Reiffenberger and Brady Allen Reiffenberger.
She is survived by: her children, Janet Pohlen of Sioux Falls, SD, Arnie of Sioux Falls, SD, Dave Plathe (LuAnn) of Maplewood, MN, Jeff Plathe (Cheryl) of Willmar, MN and Deb Reiffenberger; her sister Betty Riggs of Oregon City, OR; and her siblings-in-law, Bernetta Connelly of Sioux Falls, Alice Vignalo of St Paul, Myron Plathe of Minneapolis and Fr Tony Plathe of Clearwater, FL.. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren.
