Shirley Ernst Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Ernst of Belle Plaine, Minnesota, who passed away on February 2, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Busta and Mary Busta (Meyer); her daughter Mary (Arvin); her parents-in-law, Elmer and Elsie Ernst; her siblings, Betty McCurdy and Don Busta; and her brother-in-law Eldon Reinke.

She is survived by: her husband Arvin Ernst; her sons, Paul (Vicki) of Lago Vista, TX and David Ernst (Sharon) of Shakopee; her grandchildren, Jennifer Pearson (Aaron), Joshua, Chad and Tony (Cruz); her brother Mel Busta (Karen); her sister-in-law Shirley Reinke; her great grandchildren, Trenton Ernst and Xander Pearson; her grandson Jason Ernst; and also Patrick Ernst (Kate).

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Trinity Lutheran church in Belle Plaine, or cancer research.
