He was predeceased by: his parents, John Burmeister and Clotilda Burmeister (Boeckman); his significant other Suzanne; his parents-in-law, Joseph Paquin and Margaret Paquin; his brother John Burmeister; and his brothers-in-law, Frank Paquin, Bernie Paquin and Philip Laval.
He is survived by: his children, Joseph Burmeister (Tricia), Gina Carlson (Brett) and Michael Burmeister (Allison); his grandchildren, Brooks Burmeister (Alisha), Heather Siegel (Eric) and Hannah Burmeister (Jack Norlen); his great grandchildren, Maxen and Elliana Burmeister; his siblings, Dennis Burmeister (Helen), Ann Hoehne (Dale) and Laura Kinning (Tom); his siblings-in-law, Dianne Burmeister, Joann Rupp, Julie Roberts (Nick), Meg Lemme (Daryl), Jack Paquin, Tony Paquin and Peter Paquin; and also Soleil. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 9:30 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Our Lady of the Prairie Catholic Church - Belle Plaine (200 E Church St, Belle Plaine, MN 56011).
