It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mick Borka of Belle Plaine, Minnesota, born in Shakopee, Minnesota, who passed away on October 6, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Darlene "Punky"; his son Randy Johnson; his granddaughters, Brittany Giles (Dustin) and Myra Fries (Jeremy); his great grandchildren, Lincoln, Magnus and Sawyer Giles; his sisters, Joan David and Nancy Welter (Gerald); his daughter Michelle Carlson; his brother Ronnie Borka; and his parents, Eugene and Rosella. He was also cherished by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family kindly requests donations be made to the Belle Plaine Area Food Shelf to honor Mick's memory.
