He is survived by: his children, Herb Aretz (Jeanette) of Belle Plaine and Cheryl McDougald (Bill) of Belle Plaine; his grandchildren, Dennis Aretz (Genise) of Belle Plaine, Dena Burian (Phil) of Cedar Rapids, IA and William McDougald of Belle Plaine; his great grandchildren, Stacey (Josh), Micayla, Morgan, Madeline, Kaden and Dassel; his great great grandchildren, Olivia, Andre, April and Adrian; and his siblings, Della Borchardt, Irene Oldenburg, Ruth Modrow and Ed Otto (Mary). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
