In the sacred silence of farewell, Laurie is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Laurie's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She is survived by: her parents, Dick Peterson and Jean Peterson (Cunningham); her husband Joey Behnke; her sons, Anthony Rivera and Seth Peterson; her granddaughter Cadence; and her brother Todd Peterson. She is also survived by brothers and sisters in law; cousins; aunts; uncles; nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 10:00 AM. A memorial service was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. John Lutheran Church (148 S Chestnut St, Belle Plaine, MN 56011).
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.
