She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Oswskey and Mildred Oswskey; her former husband Mitchell Thompson; her spouse Mathias Schmitz; her siblings, Lorraine Janowicz, Josie Lee, Palmer, Ted and Ben Oswskey; her grandson Jonathan Thompson; and her stepchildren, Andrew Schmitz and Margaret Schmitz.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Westaby (Don), Linda Mueller (Greg), Wally Thompson (Maureen), Les Thompson (Brenda), Peggy Spanier (Chris) and Larry Thompson (Michele); her stepchildren, John Schmitz (Debbie), Carl Schmitz (Gail), Lisa Schmitz, Susan Meyer (Roger), JoAnn Meyer (David) and Kenny Schmitz (Amanda); her siblings, Pauline Flones and Jim Oswskey (Joanne); and her sister-in-law Lilia Oswskey. She is also survived by 41 grandchildren and 59 great-grandchildren.
