He was predeceased by: his parents, Alphonse and Wanda; and his brothers, Howard (Carol) and James. He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his children, Brian Borgerding (Karen) of Belgrade, James Borgerding of Falcon Heights, Jean Pupkes (John) of Minneapolis, Mary Barber (Billy) of Old Greenwich, CT, Betty Battaglia (Vincent) of Pittsford, NY and Paul Borgerding (Laura) of Willmar; his siblings, Mary Gerding (Dale) and Mark; and his sister-in-law Marge Borgerding. He is also survived by his 19 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
