He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Norby and Geneva Norby (Gulbranson); and his siblings, Johnny Norby, Rachel Holten, Kaius Norby, Sylvia Norby, Freddie Norby, Gisle Norby, Magnus Norby, Gedina Smith, Edna Norby and Caroline Norby.
He is survived by: his friend Betty Nordby; his children, Sheila Panek of Brooten, Anita Lent (Tim) of Brooten and Myran (Amy Anderson) of Starbuck; his grandchildren, Jessica, Christopher, Kelsey, Sara, Nicole, Anthony, Heidi, Megan and Courtney; his great grandchildren, Blake, Maggie, Michelle, Anna, Mataya, Olivia, Joey, Hailey, Lexi, Kaelyn, Taylor, Cole, Amelia, Aiden, Zander, Aria, Elise, Rylee, Natalie, Genevieve and Declan; and his siblings, Anna Johnsrud, Margaret Nelson, Gertrude Hunt, Magdelyn Reutzel (Donald), Richard Norby (Jeanie) and Wesley Norby (Ruth Binnebose). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
