He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Tisdel and Aletta Tonsager Tisdel; his wife Rita Weinacht of Joseph's Cathedral; his son Alan; his grandson Christopher Tisdel; and his brother Curtis Tisdel.
He is survived by: his children, Donald Tisdel of Sioux Falls, SD, Barbara (Bill Schmitz), Linda Tisdel of Willmar, MN and Rebecca (Earl Huber); and his sister Jerri Weinacht of Volga, SD. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, two sisters-in-law, and several nieces, nephews.
