He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard McCollum and Myrtle McCollum (Brodsho); his siblings, Wayne McCollum and Pat Mannie; and his brother-in-law Vernon Benson.
He is survived by: his wife Sylvia McCollum; his sons, Jonathan (Kristin), Matthew, Daniel (Nikki), Scott and Adam (Carolyn); his grandchildren, Erica (Lane), Zachary, Emily, Trevor, Mickey (Sara), Riley (Camryn), Arran, Gabe, Tyler, Sydney, Adalyn and Lauran; his great grandchildren, Scarlett and Asher; his siblings, David McCollum (Judy), Darlene Benson and Doreen Turner (Orv); and his aunt Ethel Brodsho.
