With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gordon Oquist Sr. of Bejou, Minnesota, born in Naytahwaush, Minnesota, who passed away on August 12, 2024 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Sargent and Irene Coleman; his daughter Kelli Oquist; his grandsons, Cory and Princdyn; and his siblings, Kenneth Garbow, Donna Boodoo and Brenda Ellis.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Oquist; his children, Crystal Oquist, Gordon Oquist Jr. and Cory Oquist (Charlee); and his siblings, Clifford Garbow (Missy Fairbanks), Larry Swiers and Elizabeth Streigel. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
