He is survived by: his mother Elaine Swiers (Garland) of Bejou; his siblings, John E Swiers (Pat) of Callaway, MN, Patricia Stock (Peter) of Mahnomen, MN, Anita Olson (Jim) of Maple Bay, MN, Stewart Swiers (Mary Drake) of Bismarck, ND, Jennifer Kokesch (Harold) of Brooks, MN, Greg Swiers (Carri Danielson) of Bejou and Joe Swiers (Gerri) of Bejou; his son Joseph Helm of Crookston, MN; his granddaughters, Hailey and Kyra; and his close friend JoAnn. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
