It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steven D. Smith (Becker, Minnesota), born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, who passed away on January 8, 2024, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father William Smith; and his wife Gloria Jean Prior. He is survived by: his mother Darlene Smith (Norquist) of Silver Creek; his children, Chasidy Bjorklund (David) of St. Anthony, Mike Ronke of Clearwater, Nick Smith (Heather) of Clear Lake and Derick Stimpert (Shaun) of St. Cloud; his siblings, Bill Smith of South Haven, Tim Smith (LuAnn) of Columbia Heights and Rebecca Roepke of Silver Creek; his close friend Rita Kiffmeyer of Becker; and also, Jeff Rose of Glencoe, Shaun Rose of Becker and Brandon Rose (Vicky) of Becker. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren.
