He was predeceased by: his parents, Wardell "Jack" and Margaret Steele (Schmitt); his wife Kathleen "Kathy" Kargel; and his siblings, Jackie Crawford, Mark Steele and Joyce Mey.
He is survived by: his children, Andrea Wolf (Tony), Beth Halvorson (Chris), Brenda Ewing (Pete), Matt Steele, Peter Steele (Jenny) and Theresa Sartori (Ben); his grandchildren, Ashley Frank (Bill), Abby, Andrew, Adam Wolf, Zach, Teddy, Thomas Halvorson, Mckayla, Jackson Ewing, Simon, Philip, Eve, Solomon, Phineas Steele, Grace, Ella, Kate, Hannah and Luke Sartori; and his siblings, Jim Steele (Carol) and Patty Sofie (Wally). He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family of Greg Steele, with the plan of making a donation to a charity of their choice.
