He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto and Erna (Gatzke); his brother Willy (Wilfred); and his niece Michelle Bittner. He is survived by: his brothers, Reiny (Reinold) and Gary (Gerhardt); his wife Judy; his daughter Corina Bittner; his granddaughter Jordan Bittner; his stepson Scott Ulmer; his grandson Vernon Ulmer; his stepgranddaughter Amber Ulmer; his stepdaughter Melissa (Dwayne); his sons, Stephen Farland (Carissa) and Wade Farland (Amanda); and his great grandchild Chloe.
