He was predeceased by: his parents, Cletus Ruddy and Carol Ruddy (Larson); his granddaughter Carissa Ruddy; and his siblings, Loren "Bud", Michael, Gene, Dale, James, Donald Ruddy, Mavis Wahlert, Patricia Miller, Delores Kasemodel, Marilyn Palmer, Judy Craig and Theresa.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Ruddy; his children, Shawn Ruddy (Luverne) and Renae Ruddy (Beaver Creek); his grandchildren, Katrina, Kailey and Karter John Ruddy; and his siblings, Corrine Nath (Luverne), Darrell Ruddy, Luverne, Robert Ruddy (Gloria), Ostego and David Ruddy (Rose).
