Though Jean Marie may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rosella Powers (Brandt) and Lester Powers. She is survived by: her husband Russell Borchers of Beaver Creek, MN; her sons, Scott Borchers and Jason Borchers (Teri) of Sioux Falls, SD; her granddaughter Arielle Borchers; her brothers, Kenneth Powers (Florence) of Avon, SD and Dale Powers (Nancy) of Painted Post, NY; and her brother-in-law Darrell Borchers (Alvina) of Sioux Falls, SD. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other extended family.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Calendar Jurrens Funeral Homes - Hills (402 E 1st St, Hills, MN 56138).
