He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Gerhardt and Lucille Gerhardt (Oberman); and his brothers, Fred and John Gerhardt. He is survived by: his wife Karen Burlingame; his children, Amy Rein (Greg) of Faribault, MN, David Gerhardt (Lisa) of Brainerd, MN and Dan Gerhardt of Pierre, SD; and his siblings, Jim Gerhardt of Minneapolis, MN and Ruth Bredemann. He is also survived by five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
