He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl and Florence. He is survived by: his wife Monica; his children, Jim Eide, Aaron Eide (Brandee) and Kathy Hamlin (Tom); his granddaughters, Teagan (Cade), Taylor, Madeline, Kandice (Travis), Samantha, Peyton and Kasey; his great grandchild Mackenzie; and his brother Bruce Eide (Shelley).
