He is survived by: his wife Joan (Waataja); his sons, Brent and Ryan; his siblings, Richard (Jude), Kathie Rogers and Rosemary Talbot (Lyle); and his in-laws, Bonnie Swanson, Judy Saice, Dawn Maruska (Mike), Patty Schutjer, Scott Waataja (Teri), James Waataja (Deanna) and Tom Waataja.
