It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Payette of Baxter, Minnesota, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on September 27, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Payette and Rose Payette; his siblings, Francis Payette and Rosemary Clifford; and his stepdaughter Cindi.

He is survived by: his uncle Paul; his aunt Helvie; his former wife Connie; his pets, Choco, Fritz and Taz; his wife Shirley of Baxter, MN; his sons, Andre Payette (Rachel) of Hawley, MN and Daniel Payette (Kelly) of Frisco, TX; his grandchildren, Seth, Rory, Camden and Lexi; and his stepchildren, Tami, Lori, Kristi, Sheri (Todd) and Robbie (Robyn). He is also survived by step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in memory of Richard Payette are preferred to the animal humane society or animal shelter of your choosing.
