She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Hardesty and Hettie Hardesty; her husband Gilbert B. Dewes, Sr.; and her siblings, Mary Ensweiler, Dorothy Scott, Helen Pear, Barbara Echterling, Allard and Reta Jo.
She is survived by: her children, Judy Jones, Kathy Dewes, Paula Withrow (Chip), Betty Nunes (Jack), Mary Krick (Jess), Gilbert Jr. Dewes (Nicole) and Patti Dewes; and her siblings, Betty Smith, Ron Hardesty (Aileen), Bill Hardesty (Janice) and Ed Hardesty (Pam). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, and 20 great grandchildren.
