He was predeceased by: his father William Charpentier; his brother Michael; and his niece Simone. He is survived by: his mother Doris Charpentier (Guimond); his sons, Samuel and Benjamin; his wife Brenda Brown; his brother Gary; his sister-in-law Candace Charpentier; his siblings, Pamela Charpentier and Marc; his sister-in-law Becky Charpentier; his sister Lisa; his brother-in-law Herb Lotz; and his father-in-law Jerome Brown. He is also survived by aunts and uncle; and many nieces and nephews.
He showed amazing courage while living with early-onset Alzheimer's Disease, which forced him to retire long before he wanted to.
