He was predeceased by: his parents, William Smith and Regina Smith; and his brother-in-law Carl Johnson. He is survived by: his wife LuAnn; his children, Lisa Drietz (Steve) of Baxter, MN, Kelly Green (Bob) of Chapin, SC and Kyle Smith (Gretchen) of Maple Grove, MN; and his siblings, Jack Smith (Gaylene), Penny Johnson and Tami Lu Smith. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
