She was predeceased by: her parents, James Childs and Evelyn Childs (Nerison); and her brothers, Jerome and Gailand Childs. She is survived by: her husband Cliff Hess; her children, Warren Hess (Amy) and Karen Miller (Richard); her grandchild Ericka Peterson (Alex); her great grandchild Cameron; and her grandchildren, Jacob Hess (Ashlie Knack), Austin Narveson, Timothy Hess, Noah Miller, Isaiah Miller, Rachel Miller (Bailey Koppen) and Hannah Miller.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that remembrances by made in the form of contributions to Lutheran Church of the Cross in Nisswa, MN.
