He is survived by: his wife Shirley Kirkvold of Baxter, MN; his sons, Scott Kirkvold (Debbie) of Brainerd, MN and Steve Kirkvold (Lynne Mosiman) of Omaha, NE; his grandchildren, Bryan Kirkvold (Ally) of Maple Grove, MN, Amber Wink (Wade) of Brainerd, MN, Bradley Kirkvold (Morgan) of Lynwood, WA, Brianna Erickson (Jared) of Cloquet, MN, Emily Kirkvold of Lincoln, NE and Naomi Kirkvold of Lincoln, NE; his great grandchildren, Arianna, Skyler, Brynnly, Berkley, Brekken, Stella and Saylor; and his siblings-in-law, Sid Nelson, Louanne Fronning (John Hughes) and Connie DeKrey (Kevin). He is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
