Geraldine Hanke Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 27, 2022, at the age of 92, Geraldine Hanke (Baxter, Minnesota) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlton Engen and Quinn Engen; her husband Willis Hanke; her siblings, Marian Shoultz and Marvin Engen; her son Daniel Hanke; and her grandson Samuel Gensmer.
She is survived by: her siblings, Luverne Johnson, William Engen and Virginia Schultz; her children, Lynda Krueger (Charles), Marlys Reid (Pieter), Eileen Olson (Dennis), James, Thomas, John (Joyce), Timothy, Sharon Gensmer (Gavin) and Karen Kroll (Daniel); and her daughter-in-law Sheryl Hanke. She is also survived by 10 children as well as 26 grandchildren and 37 great grandchildren, 26 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren.
Geraldine Viola Hanke was embraced by her Lord and Savior on Thursday, January 27, 2022, after a long struggle with Alzheimer's.
