He is survived by: his wife Lorraine T. O'Connell; and his children, Jim (Sue), Laurie Lockwood (late Harry), Theresa Garry (Bill), Chris (Staci), Rob (Lisa) and John (Nikki). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
