He was predeceased by: his parents, Emma Foertsch (Duwenhoegger) and Henry Foertsch; his parents-in-law, Raymond and Betty Kommers; and his sister-in-law Barbara Kommers.
He is survived by: his wife Annette (Kommers); his siblings-in-law, Thomas Kommers and Cindy Kommers; his children, Mark Foertsch (Stacey), Lorrie Kopp (Pat), Becky Becker, David Foertsch (Erica), Lisa Eichenauer (Mike) and Carolyn Helm (Anthony); and his grandchildren, Angie Sonnee (Chris), Daniel Schoeller, Jeremiah Foertsch (Stephanie), Jen Brigham (Jimmy), Ben Foertsch (Angela), Christine Doll, Aaron Foertsch, Anna Becker, Matthew Becker (Olivia), Emily Eichenauer, Nick Foertsch, Ryan Eichenauer and Jenna Foertsch. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
