He was predeceased by: his parents, William Potter and Laila Potter (Johnson); his wife Therese Horigan; his stepmother Earnibelle; and his brother Ronald.
He is survived by: his children, John Potter (Michelle), Steve Potter (Debbie), Sue Forland (Mike), Tom Potter (Karolyn), Carrie Potter and Kristin Zanosko (Johnny); and his sister-in-law Kay Nelson. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family.
