She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Tobias Spencer and Emma Alletta Mayer; her husband Richard; and her brothers, Glenn, Robert and James.

She is survived by: her sons, Thomas Howard (Donna) of Crystal, Robert (Cheryl) of Baxter, Jeffrey (Lynne) of Brainerd, Mark (Lisa) of Andover, Joseph (Lynn) of Duluth and Dennis (Cammille) of Brainerd, Minn.; and her sister Helen.
