He was predeceased by: his parents, John McLeod and Patricia McLeod (Schemmel); his nephew Ian McCauley; and his brother John Niemi. He is survived by: his son John McLeod (Malia McCarthy); and his siblings, Constance Hvass (Charles), Jacqueline Werket (John), Sally Goroni (Gary) and Patrick McLeod. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
