It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barry D. Olson of Baxter, Minnesota, who passed away on December 19, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Olson and Marcella Olson; and his brother Bruce. He is survived by: his wife Jean Schneider; his daughters, Deanna Olson (Kate Johnson), Jennifer Sullivan (Brian), Jodi Olson and Jessica van Lamoen (Robin); his grandchildren, Kevin Sullivan, Kyle Sullivan, Madeline Dehn, Samuel Dehn, Grace Dehn and Tyler van Lamoen; and his siblings, Ryan, Gayle and Melissa.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Heart Catholic Church (35208 Co Rd 37, Crosslake, MN 56442). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
