He is survived by: his children, Mike Pierce and Alicia Lucken (Ryan); his grandson Sam Lucken; his siblings, David Pierce and Bonnie Parker; his mother-in-law Roselle Sandvold; his brother Will; his sister-in-law Ellen Daniels; his nephews, Jon (Camille) and James; his great-nephew Edwin; his nephew Joshua Daniels; his stepfather Andy Lystad (Murial); his stepsiblings, Neomi Delilah (Taunya-Sadie), Neil, Phillip, Mary and Martha; and also, Andy Sandvold (Bev), Hannah and Brian Vondrka (Nancy).
In 2021, Sam ended up having COVID and was in the hospital for about a month.
